HDFC Life’s Mission L.I.F.E Aims to Create Awareness on Life Insurance

HDFC Life, one of India’s leading insurers, constantly endeavours to create awareness on life insurance. The Company has been driving awareness campaigns for the last few years in order to reach out to individuals across the country.

Mission L.I.F.E – Life Insurance For Everyone (Mission L.I.F.E) is the latest addition to the series. The campaign was launched as a run up to National Insurance Awareness Day on 28th June, with the aim of bringing everyone together towards the common goal of creating life insurance awareness and highlighting the importance of having adequate life cover.

Life insurance is a necessity for every individual with responsibilities. However, awareness levels are low which is reflected in the large protection gap – India has a protection gap of 83%* which is the highest in comparison to its peers. To address this challenge, it is necessary to enhance the penetration of life insurance across all sections of the population.

As part of this campaign, HDFC Life conducted a series of activities which included chat shows, videos, on-ground activities, etc. to create awareness as well as engage with consumers both directly as well as indirectly through its wide network of distributors.

Additionally, a special series has been created – HDFC Life presents Life Sessions partnered by ET Now, which involves discussions to generate awareness about life insurance. This five-episode series is based on inputs from customers on their financial needs and aims to deliver insights by industry veterans on the importance of financial planning across different stages of one’s life. It features leaders of HDFC Life along with leaders from its partner companies.

A Grand Culmination to Sodexo’s 25 Years Anniversary Project with Servathon 2023

75 office and site locations offered cooked meals and dry rations during May-June 2023.

Event kicked off at the hands of Group Chairwoman and CEO Sophie Bellon.

Involved almost 50 NGOs and 500+ Sodexo employees who volunteered for community service.


Servathon, which is the annual employee volunteering and community engagement program of the company concluded after a two-month-long period of engaging our clients, employees as volunteers, the senior leaders and the community members. The activity which kicked off in April this year coinciding with the visit of our Group Chairwoman, Sophie Bellon and Group Chief Impact Officer, Anna Notarianni saw its grand culmination with 75 pitstops. It ran between May-June 2023 offering cooked meals, donations of dry ration kits and other daily essentials benefitting women, senior citizens, underprivileged children and PWDs. 500+ Sodexo employees contributed their time and efforts during this community service program. In a symbolic launch event, for the multi-city Servathon roadshow, dry ration kits were donated by Sophie, to 200 students of Rishi Valmiki Eco School, supporting the education of underprivileged students.

A Grand Culmination to Sodexo’s 25 Years Anniversary


According to a recent national survey, 7.5% of children in India suffer from acute malnutrition. Further, 23% of women and 20% of men are also considered undernourished. While talking about tackling this issue, Sambit Sahu, Managing Director, Sodexo India remarked, “Since providing healthy and nutritious food is our forte at Sodexo, we endeavour to create a sustainable and hunger-free world through our community engagement program, Servathon, every year. We encourage our employees to volunteer their time towards Servathon and I am really touched by the dedication and commitment displayed by our employees consistently. In our own small way, we are together fulfilling our purpose to create a better every day for everyone to build a better life for all.”

“Aligning with our Better Tomorrow 2025 plan, we are committed to eliminating hunger and malnutrition. The 60,000+ cooked meals and 10 tonnes of dry ration provided through Servathon are a step in the direction of offering nutrition and access to healthy food to the community that is deprived of the necessity – good wholesome meals. A Grand Culmination to Sodexo’s 25 Years Anniversary Project with Servathon 2023

75 office and site locations offered cooked meals and dry rations during May-June 2023.

Event kicked off at the hands of Group Chairwoman and CEO Sophie Bellon.

Involved almost 50 NGOs and 500+ Sodexo employees who volunteered for community service.


Servathon, which is the annual employee volunteering and community engagement program of the company concluded after a two-month-long period of engaging our clients, employees as volunteers, the senior leaders and the community members. The activity which kicked off in April this year coinciding with the visit of our Group Chairwoman, Sophie Bellon and Group Chief Impact Officer, Anna Notarianni saw its grand culmination with 75 pitstops. It ran between May-June 2023 offering cooked meals, donations of dry ration kits and other daily essentials benefitting women, senior citizens, underprivileged children and PWDs. 500+ Sodexo employees contributed their time and efforts during this community service program. In a symbolic launch event, for the multi-city Servathon roadshow, dry ration kits were donated by Sophie, to 200 students of Rishi Valmiki Eco School, supporting the education of underprivileged students.

According to a recent national survey, 7.5% of children in India suffer from acute malnutrition. Further, 23% of women and 20% of men are also considered undernourished. While talking about tackling this issue, Sambit Sahu, Managing Director, Sodexo India remarked, “Since providing healthy and nutritious food is our forte at Sodexo, we endeavour to create a sustainable and hunger-free world through our community engagement program, Servathon, every year. We encourage our employees to volunteer their time towards Servathon and I am really touched by the dedication and commitment displayed by our employees consistently. In our own small way, we are together fulfilling our purpose to create a better every day for everyone to build a better life for all.”

“Aligning with our Better Tomorrow 2025 plan, we are committed to eliminating hunger and malnutrition. The 60,000+ cooked meals and 10 tonnes of dry ration provided through Servathon are a step in the direction of offering nutrition and access to healthy food to the community that is deprived of the necessity – good wholesome meals.
